nFORMAL design - The total design experience.

Although first impressions are very important, at nFORMAL design, we think it takes time to really get to know someone or something. However, we must start the process, and we are excited to bring you architecture and design in a new way—the nFORMAL way.

Many times someone has said that our name sounds familiar. That is exactly what we had hoped would happen when we chose the name. Although we are an emerging firm, we revel in that immediate familiarity. nFORMAL might just sound like an interesting play on words, but it actually means something much more to us. It is our design philosophy, so to speak.

At nFORMAL design we believe the process of design should not be rigid. Some occasions call for a program to be by the book, and other situations are not as structured. These projects are a little less formal—nFORMAL, if you will.

Our goal is to create architecture and well designed objects for those who want to live a bit nFORMAL-ly. Whether it is a coffee table, a bathroom remodel or a single family home, it should be as unique and come as close to what the client imagined it to be. Regardless of scale, we want to work with you to achieve your goal.

Two things that will always be present in our work are persistence and grit. We are problem solvers at heart, and we welcome challenges. It is an accountability for meeting these challenges that inspires us to be "of the people"...a smidgeon more equitable than the next firm.
